Do you get excited about a dynamic logistics environment where you can make a difference every day?
With the large volume of peppers we produce, there’s always plenty of activity on our premises. Dozens of trucks are loaded and unloaded daily—directly to supermarkets or trading companies all over Europe. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that this process runs smoothly, efficiently, and without errors.

About the job

As an Expedition Employee, you and your colleagues are responsible for the inbound and outbound goods flows at our various docks across 4 locations. You make sure everything stays well-organized and runs seamlessly: from receiving goods to directing drivers for proper truck loading, as well as handling the related administration.

This is a seasonal position (March to November). During the winter months, you will take on projects or work along in the greenhouse.

Your main tasks:

Planning & Coordination: Oversee activities at the different docks and coordinate with colleagues and transport companies.

Loading & Unloading: Ensure the right pallets with peppers and packaging materials end up in the right trucks. You’ll handle a wide variety of products—from loose peppers to flow packs in different sizes and packaging—ensuring everything runs efficiently and on time.

Receiving goods: Make sure incoming packaging materials are unloaded correctly and stored in the right locations.

Administration: Prepare loading slips and freight documents, and accurately record all shipments in the WMS system.

Communication: Work closely with colleagues and maintain short lines of communication with planners. You stay in control and keep calm during peak periods, while giving drivers clear instructions.

What we offer

A challenging role in an informal team with short lines of communication;

A good salary (above CLA), based on your knowledge and experience;

Employment conditions in line with the greenhouse horticulture CLA, including a pension scheme, 8.33% holiday pay, and 25.5 vacation days based on a full-time contract;

The opportunity to develop yourself through the knowledge and experience of colleagues.

Your profile

Eager to learn: You’re curious and like to learn new things.

Experience: Experience with logistics processes and planning is a plus.

Communication: You speak good English and ensure clear coordination.

Flexibility: Since our production fluctuates, the volume of peppers to be shipped varies. You are therefore willing to work flexible hours and be on call when needed.

Structure & overview: You perform well under pressure and like keeping things organized.

Responsibility: You show ownership, take initiative, and carry responsibility for your tasks.
